Albuquerque Economic Development
Albuquerque Economic Development (AED) is a private, nonprofit organization with a mission to recruit new employers and industries while helping local companies expand and create quality job opportunities within the Albuquerque metro area. AED serves as an umbrella organization promoting investment in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia counties. Supported by investors and public sector allies, AED actively recruits companies that export goods or services from New Mexico, bringing new investment dollars into the state. Their efforts contribute to economic growth, development, and diversification, ultimately enhancing the standard of living and opportunities in the Albuquerque area.


Village of Los Lunas Economic Development
The Village of Los Lunas and its Community Development Department are dedicated to supporting local businesses. Whether you're launching a new enterprise or relocating an established company to the Village, the economic development team is prepared to assist you in achieving success. Los Lunas, the second fastest-growing city in the state, is conveniently situated just 20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque, with easy access from Interstate 25. Notably, they offer a swift approval process of commercial and residential plans, typically within three weeks or less.


Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG)
MRCOG's mission is to strengthen individual communities by identifying and initiating regional planning strategies through open dialogue and collaboration among member governments. Serving as the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area (AMPA), MRCOG coordinates with federal, state, and local transportation planning organizations to develop the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), outlining transportation planning priorities for the Albuquerque metropolitan area. Additionally, MRCOG acts as the agent for the New Mexico Department of Transportation.


University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus
Located in Tomé, New Mexico, between Belen and Los Lunas, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus occupies 150 scenic acres overlooking the Rio Grande Valley, the Manzano Mountains, and historic Tomé Hill. As a branch college of The University of New Mexico, UNM-Valencia is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The institution's comprehensive accreditation review resulted in a 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation in April 2009.


New Mexico Economic Development Department
The New Mexico Economic Development Department's mission is to enhance and leverage a competitive environment to create jobs, develop the tax base, and provide incentives for business development. Their programs and initiatives align with this mission. The New Mexico Partnership, a public-private organization, markets the state globally to attract new jobs and investment. The department also offers direct assistance to New Mexico businesses and communities, with programs and services detailed in the Business Resource Center. Additionally, EDD administers various programs supporting community development.
