Albuquerque Economic Development (AED) is a private, nonprofit organization with a mission to recruit new employers and industries while helping local companies expand and create quality job opportunities within the Albuquerque metro area. AED serves as an umbrella organization promoting investment in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia counties. Supported by investors and public sector allies, AED actively recruits companies that export goods or services from New Mexico, bringing new investment dollars into the state. Their efforts contribute to economic growth, development, and diversification, ultimately enhancing the standard of living and opportunities in the Albuquerque area.

The Village of Los Lunas and its Community Development Department are dedicated to supporting local businesses. MRCOG's mission is to strengthen individual communities by identifying and initiating regional planning strategies through open dialogue and collaboration among member governments. Serving as the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area (AMPA), MRCOG coordinates with federal, state, and local transportation planning organizations to develop the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), outlining transportation planning priorities for the Albuquerque metropolitan area. Additionally, MRCOG acts as the agent for the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
