Los Lunas is a friendly, pro-development community located 20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque, and easily accessed off the

The MRCOG mission is to strengthen individual communities by identifying and initiating regional planning strategies through open
dialogue and collaboration between the member governments.
The MRCOG is the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area (AMPA). A major
responsibility of the MPO is coordinate with federal, state, and local transportation planning organizations to develop the Unified
Planning Work Program (UPWP) which identifies the transportation planning priorities for the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
The MRCOG also serves as the agent for the New Mexico Department of Transportation.

main population centers of Valencia County. The campus occupies 150 acres of rural land overlooking the Rio Grande Valley to the
West, the Manzano Mountains to the East, and historic Tomé Hill to the North.As a branch college of The University of New Mexico, UNM-Valencia is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the
North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The institution’s last comprehensive accreditation review occurred in
April 2009, resulting in a full 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation.

jobs, develop the tax base and provide incentives for business development.Our programs and initiatives support our mission. The New Mexico Partnership is a statutorily-created public-private organization
under contract to the department to market the state globally in order to attract new jobs and investment. Department programs
provide direct assistance to New Mexico businesses and communities. Programs and services for businesses can be found in the
Business Resource Center. EDD also administers several programs that support Community Development.
