Pecos Homes Breaks Ground on Manzano Vista Development

Pecos Homes has broken ground on a new 27 – unit housing development in Rio Communities, south of Albuquerque. The development – Manzano Vista – has begun construction and anticipates the first homes to be completed by this winter. Rio Communities is located approximately 30 miles south of downtown Albuquerque, and 14 miles south of Los Lunas. Rio Communities was incorporated in 2013 and offers residents beautiful landscapes and vistas, a low crime rate and the joys that come with living in a small community.

Manzano Vista is in the Tierra del Sol golf community, with hiking trails, a lush wildlife habitat, restaurants, museums, and wineries all close by. The customizable floor plans include a two-bedroom, two-bathroom option; a three-bedroom, two-bathroom option; a four-bedroom, two-bathroom option; and a four-bedroom, three-bathroom option. Two-car garages come standard and there is an option to build a model with a three-car garage. All homes also come complete with front lawn landscaping. The prices range from $169,900 to $419,900.

“Rio Communities has been a well-kept secret for nearly a decade,” explained Manzano Vista Developer Garth Tallman. “Once people see this new development, the secret won’t be a secret much longer. It is an incredible community, close to everything with peaceful lots and no traffic.”

“With the demand for affordable housing increasing, we are thrilled to welcome the Manzano Vista development to our community,” said Martin Moore, PhD., Rio Communities City Manager. “The homes are high quality, yet affordable, and provide easy access to everything there is to see and do in the Rio Grande valley.”
